The Peninsula Tokyo is delighted to present a special early summer iteration of the iconic Peninsula Afternoon Tea, served in the elegant surroundings of The Lobby. For the months of May and June, guests are invited to indulge in the seasonal Cherry Afternoon Tea, inspired by the vibrant flavors and colors of early summer.

This exclusive menu features a delightful assortment of savory bites and exquisite sweets, incorporating the bright, juicy essence of cherries. Highlights from the sweets selection include: Cerise – a whimsical cherry-shaped creation of silky cherry cream; Rooibos tea panna cotta with fresh cherry and jelly; Cherry buttercream and kirsch-infused sponge cake; and Crispy dacquoise layered with kirsch-scented sponge. The savory offerings are equally enticing, featuring: Cherry and sour cream corn, Spanish coppa; Opera, foie gras terrine and griotte cherry; Octopus and vegetable tartlets with slow-cooked tomato and dried cherries; and a refreshing gazpacho accented with dual jellies and beet.

Each afternoon tea is accompanied by freshly baked homemade scones and a premium tea selection.
