Manila's most iconic and snap-worthy sites are yours for the Gramming. From funky street art to heritage hot-shots, don't miss these Instagram spots for the memory bank.
Paco Park and Cemetery
Circular is the shape at Paco Park, originally built to serve the city’s needs during the time of Cholera in 1820, and the cemetery's curvaceous stone walls now protect its peaceful gardens. The St Pancratius church and central pond is reminiscent of a scene from Aladdin when grammed from the opposite pathway.
Manila Baywalk
Beeline to Manila’s seaside promenade to enjoy a restorative gaze out across the big blue ocean after the inner-city madness. Make it just in time for golden hour to catch a dusky silhouette against the tree lined walk n’ waves.
Manila Central Post Office
Listed as an ‘Important Cultural Property’ by the National Museum this grand neoclassical building is as photogenic on the inside as it is on the outside. Take a stroll through its cool columned interior, but for maximum photo oops check out the view from across Jones Bridge.
Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Street Art and Wall Murals
Modern lifestyle hub Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is a magnet for hip young shutterbugs on the hunt for the district’s street art. Creatives from all walks of life are encouraged to contribute to the ArtBGC Festival each year, hosted by the Bonifacio Arts Foundation (BAFI). For maximum exposure, book yourself into one of the daily guided tours via the Alveo Showroom; pieces to seek out include Faile’s ‘Wonderland’ at Global One Place and Andrew Schoultz’ ‘The Heart of God’s Country’ rising up above 5th Avenue and 32nd Street, plus Francisco Diaz’s ‘Calamansi and Sampaguita’ bestowed on the BGC Corporate Center.
