The Peninsula Beverly Hills and Diptyque Paris awaken the senses for Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

Beverly Hills, Calif (April 12, 2019) – The Peninsula Beverly Hills’ iconic afternoon tea in The Living Room has always been a sensory experience featuring artful pastries and confections paired with exotic teas from around the world. This Mother’s Day, taking place on May 12th, the hotel will celebrate mom through offering an additional sensory experience to enjoy with loved ones before or after afternoon tea.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills and diptyque will feature an elegant “fragrance bar” next to The Living Room where moms and their family members will sample diptyque’s exotic French fragrances, learn about specialty ingredients and how to layer fragrances. To conclude the experience, all moms will receive a Peninsula Beverly Hills x diptyque special gift to take home.

Classic Scones, Petite Pastries, and Finger Sandwiches with fillings such as House Smoked Salmon with Caper; Camembert and Tomato Pesto; and Egg, Dijon and Watercress are house favorites. Accompanying these savory and sweet delights is a selection of 19 teas from all over the world, including traditional Wiyu Oolong or hand-picked Darjeeling; Green teas such as Matcha or Green Pomegranate; and Herbal blends including soothing French Lemon Ginger and Pacific Coast Mint.

Seatings for Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea will be at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm, priced at $95 per person. A live harpist plays from 12:30pm. Reservations can be made by calling +1 (310) 975-2736.
