The Peninsula Hotels Appoints Caroline Goux as Vice President, Sales

The Peninsula Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Goux as Vice President, Sales, effective 29 April 2019. In her new role, she will be responsible for Global Sales, Global Customer Service Centre and Global Customer Database & Sales Projects.

French-born, Caroline began her sales career with the Hôtel Château Grand Barrail. In 2000, she joined the Hôtel Ritz Paris as Sales Manager and two years later was promoted to Director of Sales. In 2004, she joined the Le Bristol Paris as Associate Director, Sales & Marketing, where after she was promoted to Director, Sales & Marketing, North America, Australia and Asia with the Oekter Collection. In 2015, the Oetker Collection appointed her Vice President, Sales, based at their headquarters in Paris, where she was responsible for the global sales of its 10 hotels. In addition to speaking French, Caroline is fluent in English and German.

The Peninsula Hotels is also pleased to announce the rebranded job titles for Gareth Roberts to Senior Vice President, Operations, Rolf Buehlmann to Vice President, Rooms Operations & Quality, James Overbaugh to Vice President, Food & Beverage Operations, Lily Calkins to Vice President, Revenue Management, Matthew Dray to Vice President, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing & Guest Engagement and Carson Glover to Vice President, Brand Marketing & Communications. The Rooms and Food & Beverage positions will continue to report to Gareth Roberts, while the four remaining positions, including Caroline Goux, Vice President, Sales will continue to report to Mark Kobayashi, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
