Stories from the Tree
As per time-honoured custom, The Peninsula Hong Kong will commence in breathtaking style in the end of November with a spectacular lighting ceremony of both The Lobby’s glittering Christmas Tree and the hotel’s historic façade inspired by the constellation and celestial light. This year’s story, the fourth and final tale in the “Stories from the Tree” series, features the Reindeer as the main character, who journeys around the world to see (and taste) different Christmas traditions.

Digital Storybook
Each year since 2018, The Peninsula Hotels has created a specially written children’s story highlighting a different “Stories from the Tree” character. This year’s story, The Reindeer’s Travels, will be released as an e-storybook for free download on peninsula.com, along with stories from the previous three years (The Nutcracker’s Adventure, The Gingerbread Man’s Tale, and The Robin’s Journey). A printed box set of the complete collection will also be available for purchase, with US$10 from each sale going to ImpactHK, a local charity that supports the homeless and underprivileged in Hong Kong.

Opportunities for Giving
To honour the spirit of generosity that accompanies the holidays, The Peninsula Hotels will continue its tradition of contributing to organisations that support local welfare in each of its hotels’ home cities. The Peninsula Hong Kong will donate US$5 from each sale of a Festive Afternoon Tea to ImpactHK.

Throughout the festive season, The Peninsula Hong Kong presents an array of gourmet menus prepared by award-winning chefs. Highlights include Michelin-starred French fine dining at Gaddi’s, Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine at Spring Moon and international cuisine at The Lobby.
