From enchanting visits with Father Christmas and festive film screenings, to drinking and dining choices and a charming Christmas market, The Peninsula London has crafted luxurious offerings to delight and inspire.

Festive Feasting & Delightful Drinks

In its iconic location between the Royal Parks and the illuminations of Knightsbridge, The Peninsula London presents a choice of exceptional and entertaining winter party venues in which to share the spirit of Christmas. The hotel’s three restaurants offer dining experiences with festive flair, including Festive Afternoon Tea in The Lobby, cocktails and tasting menus with exceptional skyline views at Brooklands by Claude Bosi and Canton Blue’s distinctly different take on celebratory dining.

Christmas Favourites in The Lobby

A sophisticated all-day dining restaurant at the heart of The Peninsula London, The Lobby will offer a special Peninsula Festive Afternoon Tea (£95pp), served daily throughout December. The family-friendly menu will feature a selection of delicious, sweet and savoury festive-inspired treats including delicate finger sandwiches filled with honey-roast ham and smoked salmon; Christmas inspired desserts including a bauble dessert and Gingerbread Man with dulce de leche; home-made scones; and a selection of warming teas. The Lobby will also serve a four-course Christmas Day menu (£195pp), featuring a foie gras terrine starter, lobster tortellini, roast turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding. 

Sensational Cuisine at Brooklands by Claude Bosi

Sitting atop of The Peninsula London, the two Michelin-starred Brooklands by Claude Bosi offers world-class dining with unrivalled views of the iconic London skyline. Served in a sleek, contemporary dining room inspired by the design of the Concorde, the restaurant will host a five-course Christmas Eve Dinner (£295pp) featuring Tia Mara Irish grilled oyster; hand-dived Isle of Mull scallop; Scottish extra-large Langoustine; and Cornish monkfish. A sumptuous six-course Christmas Day Lunch Menu (£350) and five-course Christmas Dinner (£245) will also be served, featuring dishes such as Cornish cod with oscietra caviar sauce, Pheasant with truffle and chestnut velouté, Lake District Dry-aged beef fillet, and baked Yarlington cheese with truffle.

Something different at Canton Blue 

Offering innovative Cantonese cuisine amid maritime-inspired interiors, Canton Blue will offer multiple festive feasts for guests over the Christmas period. This includes a special Winter Solstice Menu (£168pp) available from the 20th - 23rd December, which will feature a variety of speciality dishes including a variety of handmade dim sum, barbecued pork, stir-fried wagyu beef, and almond soup with black sesame rice balls. The Christmas Menu (£188pp) will be served on the 24th and 25th December, with menu highlights including steamed halibut in black bean sauce, glazed native lobster, razor clams in ginger sauce and black sesame cheesecake. 

Festive Film Screenings

Hotel guests will be invited to cosy up in The Cinema, The Peninsula London’s private screening room, with 15 armchairs for an afternoon where a Peninsula London Page will offer hampers of chocolates, gingerbread biscuits and colouring books to occupy even the littlest guest. Running from 20 December - 1 January there will be three daily screenings of Christmas classics including Love Actually, The Holiday and a selection of children’s favourites from Elf, Santa Claus and The Polar Express.

Look out for The Peninsula’s original festive film following Father Christmas’s arrival at The Peninsula London. In this short film, Huntsman bespoke tailors have partnered with The Peninsula to craft a custom-made, Peninsula-Green suit for Father Christmas, showcasing the artistry behind London’s timeless, tailoring tradition.

Christmas Market in the Courtyard

Every Sunday from the 28 November - 29 December, The Peninsula London’s gracious courtyard will be transformed into an enchanting Christmas Market. An array of stalls serving caviar, crepes and mulled wine, along with a soundtrack of live entertainment, will spread Christmas cheer. Santa will also be present giving Christmas gifts to guests and visitors.

Santa Suits Up in Style: The Peninsula London & Huntsman Unveil Bespoke 'Peninsula Green' Holiday Look

This winter, a new chapter in Father Christmas's sartorial history unfolds, as The Peninsula London partners with renowned Savile Row tailor Huntsman to re-enchant Santa’s iconic attire. 

Adorning the jolly old man himself in a bespoke Peninsula Green suit, this exclusive collaboration harkens back to the traditional green robes of Santa, a nod to the original image of Father Christmas before his famous red costume. Crafted in luxurious dark-green velvet and trimmed with elegant cream faux fur, the bespoke suit is set to become the most stylish look of the season.

The Peninsula Green suit, an exquisite creation by Huntsman, will be showcased in a captivating short film, produced by creative agency Petroleum & Co, to be released digitally from November 19th, bringing to life Santa’s refined new look. The film, blending festive cheer with a touch of British tailoring sophistication, will be available to audiences throughout the holiday season.

Santa’s elegant transformation will also be on display to the public at Huntsman’s Savile Row atelier from November 27th - December 23rd. Visitors will be able to admire the detailed craftsmanship of Santa’s new attire, bringing festive spirit and luxury together in a singular, uplifting moment.
