At its collection of blooming outdoor spaces, the Avenue Kléber hotel offers an array of captivating warm-weather experiences

The summer season is a time of rare enchantment in the City of Light – and one which is fully embraced at The Peninsula Paris. This month, to let guests fully enjoy the romance and relaxation of summer, the legendary palace hotel has introduced a series of special experiences hosted at its sumptuous, verdant outdoor venues.

“Summer Escapes” on the Kléber Terrace

A perfect way to extend the carefree joy of the weekend, this new series of music-accompanied dinner gatherings takes place each Sunday and Monday night at the elegant, expansive Kléber Terrace.

The soirees, beginning at 6 pm, tempt guests with a magnificent spread of summery, Mediterranean-inspired fare. Starters include citrus burrata, pissaladière, and Greek garden vegetable and quinoa salad with candied lemon; cooked-to-order main courses include braised octopus, lamb shoulder with seaweed, and miso-grilled salmon. Refreshing desserts from award-winning Pastry Chef Anne Coruble – such as vanilla panna cotta with fresh strawberries, tiramisu with caramelized pecans, and red fruit pavlova with notes of verbena – are also available. Diners can choose from a selection of refined libations to accompany their meal, including fine wines and delicious creative cocktails; they can also enjoy the mood-setting rhythms of a rotating cast of live musicians and DJs.

“The Secret Garden” Returns

Since The Peninsula Paris first opened its doors in 2014, guests have been thrilled to enjoy summer drinks and light bites on one of the city’s most rarefied rooftop gardens – where lush flowering shrubs and fruit trees frame stunning landmark views.

This year, the exclusive 6th-floor venue has debuted a new Mediterranean menu highlighting the best regional produce. Savoury dishes include citrus-peppermint falafel, roasted spiced cauliflower, fresh gazpacho, and smoked eggplant with a touch of Peninsula’s own honey; sweet choices include vanilla flan enlivened by tonka bean and praline, panna cotta with Gariguette strawberries and fresh herbs, and rhubarb pavlova with vanilla-tarragon rice pudding.

To accompany these summery offerings, The Peninsula Paris has chosen to partner with the prestigious Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Champagne Collection – whose bottles adorned with Japanese anemones are instantly recognisable all over the world. In honour of the hotel’s tenth anniversary, the mixology team has also created a special new menu of ten cocktails, including the Bergamot, a blend of bergamot coulis, citrus liqueur, and champagne; and the Green Life, made with Ceder's non-alcoholic gin, grape juice and aloe vera.

The Pinnacle of Romance: The Secret Table

This private dining terrace for two, with its breath-taking views over the Eiffel Tower, offers perhaps one of the most romantic rendezvous spots in Paris.

Couples here are treated to the sublime cuisine of hotel Executive Chef David Bizet, who has created two special menus just for the venue: the six-course Le Grand Voyage, and the seven-course L'Odyssée. Both are inspired by the tasting menu served at the Michelin-starred L’Oiseau Blanc.**

To further enhance the mood, Chef Sommelier Florent Martin’s suggested wine pairings can be selected to accompany the meal. A dedicated butler is also on hand for each dining couple, to ensure a perfectly personalised and unforgettable experience.

Rooftop Garden Suites Summer Getaway Offer

With the return of sunny days, The Peninsula Paris’s four Rooftop Garden Suites, set on the sixth floor of the palace, have revealed their greatest asset: private terraces with magnificent views over the Iron Lady, the Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre, and the historic architecture of Paris.

In celebration of summer, the hotel has introduced a new special offer that allows guests to discover this experience firsthand. Along with the delights of a private garden, guests booking this package can enjoy a VIP welcome with a bottle of Rosé Château Galoupet (a celebrated Côtes de Provence wine) and delicate sweet treats served alfresco.
