The annual Peach Blossom Festival is celebrated across the city’s parks in March and April, when the scent-sational fruit trees bloom with beautiful pink-hued buds. We rundown the top spots to check out this floral spectacular.

Gorgeous Gucun Park is something of a peach blossom staple for bloom seekers; it attracts thousands of visitors every year who flock to admire the seasonal foliage. Along with the many paths and trails, park-goers can also rent a boat to bob along the lakes and canals. Our tip? Take a picnic and make an afternoon of it.

Grab your beau and beeline to Gongqing Forest Park – Shanghai’s second largest green space is a luurverly spot for a romantic springtime stroll, especially as the peach blossom trees are best admired from one of the secluded streamside walkways. Wink wink!
