The 2009 edition of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, honoured 50 years of racing at the Daytona International Speedway and paid tribute to the cars of Californian designer and manufacturer Bill Devin. Celebrations also included the 30th Anniversary of BMW Motorsport's first modified production auto, with a display of factory hot rods made with M badging. Hans Stuck, a name long connected to BMW and racing, was the guest of honour.
