Private Shopping at Tokyu Plaza
Tokyu Plaza Ginza is a revered department store consisting of 13 floors and housing a diverse selection of stores and restaurants.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests will have access to an after-hours (after 9:00 pm) shopping spree, providing a private leisurely shopping experience at one of nine selected stores: Bally, Kiton, Cruciani, 1890 EG, Emporio Armani, Hackett London, Strasburgo, Hunter and Globe Trotter.
Dunhill
Dunhill is the UK's leading men's luxury house with a history spanning 130 years. The Ginza flagship store offers everything from sophisticated tailoring and ready-to-wear to elegant leather goods, sophisticated gifts, and hard luxury items, as well as made-to-measure suits and jackets, and a leather made-to-order service. The store also has a bar and a barber, offering a total lifestyle experience.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests will receive a complimentary cocktail at dunhill BAR upon presentation of their hotel key card. In addition, through the hotel concierge, guests can access a personal styling session at the boutique as well as a grooming service with a special discount at dunhill BARBER.
Hand-Made Japanese Cooking Knives
Sukenari Knife Company has been producing knives for two generations and is known for their excellent knife production using high quality steel with impeccable grinds.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Purchase of knives is on a first-come first-served basis on availability, and knives may be shipped to certain countries only.
Premium Japanese Beef
Wagyu is one of the most popular types of beef, with its richly distinct flavor and buttery texture. The Peninsula Tokyo offers these opulent A4 to A5 graded Wagyu in its unique restaurants.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests may purchase premium brand beef cuts of Kobe Beef, Miyazaki Beef, and Sendai Beef through the hotel to take home. Cuts offered include Sirloin, Tenderloin and Rib Loin of Kobe, Miyazaki and Sendai Beef.
Tour of Imperial Palace Gardens
The Imperial Palace is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. A djacent to the inner grounds of the palace is the manicured Japanese style Imperial Palace East Gardens.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests may enjoy a fully-guided 60-minute excursion of the Imperial Palace East Gardens by a hotel staff member at a special rate of at JPY 7,000. Complimentary transportation and a souvenir book are included.
Kento’s Bar
Kento's, located in Ginza and a stone’s throw from The Peninsula Tokyo, is a popular club-restaurant and entertainment venue for guests to dine, dance or unwind with music hits from the 70's and 80's as well as live music from local bands playing disco, rock, pop, and R&B tunes.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests will receive a complimentary glass of Champagne with strawberries or an alternative beverage of choice prepared by Kento’s skilled bartenders.
Matsumoto Kiyoshi
Matsumoto Kiyoshi is one of the largest drugstore chains in Japan, offering an impressive lineup of international, Japanese, and original branded beauty products.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests will receive special discounts on selected products at one of four Matsumoto Kiyoshi Stores: Yurakucho 2-chome shop, Yurakucho Itocia Plaza, Ginza 5th Shop, BeautyU Ginza Chuo-dori Shop and the Ginza 8-chome Shop with free delivery to the hotel.
RIMOWA Luggage Service
Known as "The original luggage with the grooves", RIMOWA is the producer of the first aluminum suitcase from Germany.
KEYS TO THE CITY ACCESS: Guests are offered complimentary suitcase repair (i.e. repairs for wheels, handles, key lock) during their stay, with a turnaround of 24 hours along with free pick-up and delivery service to and from the hotel.
