Participants can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, including:

  • Traditional Outdoor Tea Ceremony: Observe a traditional tea ceremony while enjoying matcha and traditional Japanese sweets. Experience the essence of Japan's hospitality, known as omotenashi, all set against a backdrop of stunning autumn foliage.
  • Experience the Spirit of Edo Period Iki: Admire the remarkable ukiyo-e collection of the Mitani family, with origins dating back to the Edo period. Designated as a cultural property of Chiyoda Ward, the exhibition will be held at the Former Imperial Guards Headquarters, which is also classified as a nationally important cultural property. 
  • Cultural Immersion: Experience a one-of-a-kind culinary journey featuring dishes that blend traditional Japanese culture with French culinary techniques. The Kitanomaru Garden Lawn Square in Kokyo Gaien National Garden will be exclusively reserved for this event, where a renowned two-star chef will craft exquisite dishes inspired by the Edo theme of iki.
