Through a myriad of initiatives and partnerships, the company enables access to artworks – by both esteemed and emerging artists – at The Peninsula properties around the world. In part, The Peninsula Tokyo also continues to redefine the art of hospitality by presenting new twists on Japanese and global contemporary art. The “Art in Resonance” program, which facilitates partnerships between ground-breaking contemporary artists and The Peninsula Tokyo, offers both inspiring experiences for hotel guests, and a spotlight for creators.

In 2024, The Peninsula Tokyo continue to welcome artists for "Art in Resonance" series. During the sojourn at The Peninsula Tokyo, they set up a temporary painting studio in one of the guestrooms. Hotel guests are invited to discover uniquely immersive artistic experiences, when freely visiting the atelier. While in residence, the artists will also create special paintings in his characteristic style. A Japanese Calligrapher and Artist, Maaya Wakasugi was welcomed as part of its signature 'The Peninsula Tokyo Art in Resonance' program. Maaya, who is a Japanese calligrapher and artist based in Bordeaux, France, was staying at The Peninsula Tokyo for two weeks and was offering a variety of specially curated interactive programs.
