MAIKO - KYOTO KATSUHUMI

Located near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, it is the oldest of Kyoto's five entertainment districts (Hanamachi). Its history back to the Muromachi period. The Kamishichiken area is also designated as an “Important Landscape Maintenance District” by Kyoto City.

Terms and Conditions:

● The rate shown is subject to JPY 200 Tokyo accommodation tax per person per night. Any surcharges are likewise subject to tax and service charge
Check-in is as early as 6:00 am on arrival day and check-out is as late as 10:00 pm on day of departure. Estimated time of arrival and departure must be provided at least 24 hours prior to arrival. A hospitality room will be provided if the original booked room category is not available. Black-out dates apply
● Up to two (2) children aged 11 and below can stay at no extra cost in an adult's room. A baby cot (for babies up to 24 months old) or an extra bed may be arranged upon request at no extra charge. Please notify Reservations team by email (reservationptk@peninsula.com) should you be staying with children so that the necessary arrangements may be made prior to your arrival
● Children over 12 years old are considered as an adult at The Peninsula Tokyo
● Only 1 extra bed or Baby crib is allowed to be set up per room due to The Fire Protection Act in Japan
● The offer cannot be used in conjunction with corporate rate, contract rate, group rate or any other offers which include the benefits of room upgrade already
● For Suite reservations:
- Complimentary beverages from the mini-bar are applicable for non-alcoholic items only. Alcoholic beverages and food items from the mini bar do not apply. The mini-bar will be restocked once per day during turndown service
- For the MINI Concierge Service, reservations are accepted from 3 pm the day before the intended day of use. Please visit our transportation desk for reservations and inquiries
● For the well-being of our guests, all guest rooms are smoke-free. Any violation will result in an additional charge equal to two room nights

● The hotel must receive any cancellation by 3:00 pm local time 3 days prior to arrival to avoid 1 night penalty charge
● In case of any dispute, The Peninsula Hotels Group reserves the right of interpretation to the extent permitted by the applicable laws
