White Liquor, or Baijiu, is a cherished cultural symbol in China imbued with deep historical meanings. Erguotou is a Beijing specialty version of this famous drink that is embedded in the capital’s folk culture. During a private visit to a Baijiu brewery, guests will learn about traditional liquor-making techniques from harvesting the grain to fermenting the liquor. The brew master will explain the history of baijiu production and why it remains so popular across China. Afterwards, guests will take a limousine to the hotel to experience an exquisite Baijiu pairing menu at Huang Ting, which is renowned for its authentic Cantonese cuisine and aristocratic courtyard ambience.
