And more than anything, the snow will bring the most magical touch to the city. Bundle up in your warmest clothes and enjoy the wonder of New York in the winter.



Step into the vibrant world of jazz music
New York’s world renowned for its rich jazz history and you can enjoy numerous jazz clubs around the city. Some of them have hosted famous artists when they were just beginning their careers and still host some of the most prominent jazz performers. For an authentic experience, Village Vanguard is one of the oldest and has been welcoming the crème de la crème of jazz talent such as John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Some of our favorites are also Blue Note in Greenwich Village, Birdland on Time Square or Smoke Jazz & Super Club on the Upper West Side. To continue your music journey, don’t miss the Winter JazzFest which is celebrating 20 years this winter from January 10 to 11, 2024, featuring a lot of talented artists. Improve your Ice-Skating Skills
There are countless options for ice skating in New York whether you are an expert or an enthusiastic beginner. While the most famous is The Rink at Rockefeller Center, this is not the only location. There are more rinks at the iconic Bryant Park, the stunning Central Park, and new this year, the Brooklyn Bridge rink offering a spectacular view. Young and old can hit the ice and create fun memories while embracing the chill air of the season.

Celebrate The Year of the Dragon
Get ready in your best red attire and enjoy one of the most colorful and vibrant events of the year in the heart of Manhattan. As this year is the year of the Dragon, the streets are transforming into a festive wonderland with Lion dances, flamboyant parades, delightful feasts, acrobats, firecrackers and numerous festivals. Take this chance to immerse yourself in Chinese culture and cuisine and try some of the best food in Chinatown, from Dumplings to noodles or authentic sweet treats. One of our favorite spots is Mei Lai Wah in Chinatown and is offering the best buns in the city. Don’t miss our iconic Lion Dance on 55th street in front of our Lobby entrance on February 10, 2024, at 10am, for an unforgettable and authentic experience.

Explore one of the numerous indoor market
New York city offers a plethora of indoor markets that are always a good bet when the temperature drops. We recommend Chelsea Market to enjoy good food, cute unique shops, and cafes. Miznon is our personal favorite for mediterranean food lovers. Time Out Market in Dumbo is also a great choice for its variety of restaurants and unparalleled views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Secret tip: get there by sunset to witness the most beautiful lights and enjoy the skyline colored in warm shades of orange.

From February 9 to 14, 2024, the New York Fashion Week will bring a unique atmosphere to the city. Whether you’re a fashion lover or not, you can enjoy the excitement and animation of the event that is not only reserved for designers and industry insiders. Some events such as showrooms, shops activations, flea markets, or non-profit shows are open to the public. We advise you to check the New York Fashion Week website to follow the latest updates and make sure you don’t miss anything. The website is also live broadcasting all the fashion shows.
