Entrée options include beef three ways or Chilean seabass or aged risotto. Dessert is extra special as guests can enjoy the return of a Valentine-themed Chocolate Bar at The Pen (the hotel’s famous chocolate buffet) just for this holiday weekend. This experience is priced at US$ 180 per person, plus US$ 66 for guests interested in wine pairings. All prices exclude tax and gratuity. Entertainment provided by The Lobby pianist. Chocolate Bar at The Pen makes a special return to The Lobby just for Valentine’s Weekend
For guests interested in indulging in the chocolate buffet exclusively, reservations can be made on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15 from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm for US$ 85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The Peninsula’s pastry team offers guests a Valentine-theme buffet of elegant bite-sized chocolate desserts and morsels. The Chocolate Bar items vary weekly and include such items as Warm Chocolate Marble Pound Cake, S’mores Tart, White Chocolate Pistachio Cake, Strawberry Chocolate Cream Puff, Milk Chocolate Crème Brûlée, Vegan Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Hazelnut Rocher, assorted candy items feature Chocolate Pecan Toffee, Chocolate Barks and more. Celebrate Romance in Shanghai Terrace
Those interested in an Asian-inspired dinner can reserve the special five-course set menu in Shanghai Terrace, with choice of entrée offered Friday, February 14th, 2025, through Saturday, February 15, 2025. Start with Chef Elmo Han’s appetizer duo of dragon prawn and Phoenix Peking duck salad, followed by a traditional dim sum trio: seafood siumai, shrimp dumpling and vegetable spring roll. The next course features Seabass hot & sour soup. Choice of entrée includes kung pao lobster or XO beef tenderloin. Complete the romantic dinner with raspberry panna cotta for dessert. The Valentine’s holiday menu is US$ 148 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine pairings are available for an additional US$ 88 per person. Reservations may be made via OpenTable.
Shanghai Terrace Celebration in The Lobby
For guests interested in enjoying Shanghai Terrace’s five-course set menu in The Lobby setting, they can indulge in Chocolate Bar at The Pen (the hotel’s famous chocolate buffet) for dessert in place of the plated dessert.
