The Peninsula Hong Kong Invites Michelin-Starred Chef Tang Chi Keung To Be Guest Chef At Spring Moon

This May, Spring Moon will welcome back two Michelin-starred Chef Tang Chi Keung, as he joins hands with the stellar kitchen team and the tea master in creating an enchanting culinary odyssey with tea pairing.


Chinese Culinary Advisor of The Peninsula Hotels, Chef Tang Chi Keung first joined The Peninsula Hotels in 1986 for Spring Moon’s opening at The Peninsula Hong Kong. He later served as the Executive Chef for Hei Fung Terrace at The Peninsula Tokyo, which earned a Michelin star in 2008 and 2009 as one of only six Chinese restaurants in Tokyo to receive this distinction. He subsequently went on to other Peninsula properties, including LiLi at The Peninsula Paris, and Yi Long Court at The Peninsula Shanghai, which was awarded two Michelin stars in 2017 and 2018 under his leadership – a significant recognition in the culinary world.


From 9 May to 30 June, Chef Tang will work together with Dim Sum Chef Kanny Cheuk and Spring Moon’s tea master, to create a sumptuous collection of tea-pairing menus. Two tasting menus are available for guests’ enjoyment during lunch and dinner, in addition to Chef Tang Specialities, which serve to further highlight his mastery of traditional Chinese cooking techniques.
