The Peninsula Hotels Launches “Winston Garden At The Peninsula” Afternoon Tea

Synonymous with long, laidback days, gardens in full bloom and golden rays of sunshine, early summer is one of the most captivating times of the year. To celebrate this halcyon season, Peninsula Hotels in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing are partnering with world-renowned jewellery brand Harry Winston to launch the new and exclusive “Winston Garden at The Peninsula” Afternoon Tea.

Available throughout June and July, the Winston Garden at The Peninsula Afternoon Tea takes inspiration from Harry Winston’s four iconic floral-oriented jewellery collections – Forget-Me-Not, Lotus Cluster, Lily Cluster and Sunflower – to offer guests a unique and exquisite twist on The Peninsula’s legendary afternoon tea tradition. 

Paying tribute to the illustrious jeweller’s enchanting floral designs, the new afternoon tea set features a variety of artfully presented sweet and savoury creations crafted by The Peninsula’s expert culinary team. These include indulgent Mango rolls with mango cream, which are inspired by the Sunflower collection; richly textured Blue shortbread with vanilla cream, a sweet expression of the Lily Cluster collection; and the mouth-watering Raspberry macarons, an irresistible interpretation of the Forget-Me-Not collection.

In addition to these gastronomic gems, the Winston Garden at The Peninsula Afternoon Tea will feature a selection of striking, decorative touches that reflect Harry Winston’s signature blue colours and motifs. These specially created design elements will enhance every aspect of the experience, from the tableware to tea set presentation. 

Patrons of the Winston Garden at The Peninsula Afternoon Tea will also be eligible to receive a pair of teaspoons featuring the Harry Winston design at the Harry Winston Salon at The Peninsula Shopping Arcade (while stocks last). 

The Winston Garden at The Peninsula Afternoon Tea is priced at HK$ 398 for one person or HK$ 718 for two and will be served daily from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm from 1 June to 31 July 2019. The Lobby Strings band provides the perfect accompaniment, playing classical music from 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm every day (except Mondays).
