The Peninsula Hong Kong Partners With Aston Martin And Bonhams For A Charitable Sports Car Auction And Unforgettable Guest Experiences

To celebrate The Peninsula Hotels’ longstanding passion for classic motorcars and dedication to philanthropic causes, the Grande Dame announces a partnership with iconic British sport cars manufacturer Aston Martin to raise money and awareness of environmental conservation. The cornerstone of this collaboration is a charitable auction of a limited-edition Aston Martin sports car, the Gulf Blue Vantage Heritage Edition roadster, which guests can view in The Lobby of The Peninsula Hong Kong between 7 May and 7 June 2021.

Gulf Blue Vantage Heritage Edition Charity Auction
Markus F. Jebsen, Chairman of MF Jebsen International Ltd, the exclusive dealer of Aston Martin sports cars in Hong Kong and Macau, will donate the highly sought-after Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition.  The funds raised from this special auction will support local wildlife and environmental conservation efforts.

Managed by renowned international auction house Bonhams, the Aston Martin sports car auction is held in association with Auction4Wildlife. Proceeds will help fund projects that protect endangered species and the restoration of local ecosystems run by the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The winning bidder will also be able to choose another beneficiary from a designated list of charity organisations, with nature conservation being the primary focus.

Journey the World – Aston Martin-themed ‘New Encounters’ Experiences
Aston Martin will offer three exclusive experiences for suite guests of the “Journey the World – New Encounters” programme at The Peninsula Hong Kong. These include an Aston Martin SUV driving experience, the chance to get up close and personal with a supercar from a famous Hollywood movie and an insider’s guide to bespoke sports car craftsmanship and design.

Sports car aficionados can be among of the first drivers in Hong Kong to experience the all-new Aston Martin DBX SUV at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden. This rare opportunity to enjoy 30 minutes of high-powered driving excitement is followed by a personal guided tour of the farm.
