This year once again, the iconic palace on Avenue Kléber is committed to the global Pink October campaign against breast cancer and is organizing its charity gala for the benefit of Les Bonnes Fées association.
Since its opening in 2014, the Peninsula Paris has been tirelessly committed to raising awareness among the public on the importance of breast cancer prevention.
This year, the Parisian Palace is joining Les Bonnes Fées association, which, created in 2015 on the initiative of Sylvie Tellier and bringing together 15 Miss France, works to support the cause of women suffering from cancer. For eight years, Les Bonnes Fées has been honouring women, mutual aid and generosity. This ambition involves the opening of four Maisons Les Bonnes Fées in France (Nancy, Lyon, Lille and Montpellier) which allow cancer patients to benefit from complementary care and therapies, playing a vital role in the healing process and reconstruction of patients.
A spectacular charity gala
This Thursday, October 5, a charity evening took place for the benefit of the Les Bonnes Fées association.
The guests gathered under the glass canopy of the iconic Kléber terrace were able to see the historic facade of the Hotel adorned with pink, before reaching the spacious reception hall of the Palace for a gourmet dinner. After listening to Sylvie Tellier and Ophélie Meunier presenting the association and her actions, the testimony of Alice Detollenaere, a model affected by breast cancer, but also the artists Vincent Niclo, Élisa Tovati and Gary Dourdan, the guests were able to participate in an unprecedented auction led by the talented auctioneer Camille de Foresta of the Maison Christie's.
A real human adventure, which brought together for one evening 15 Miss from the association, committed public figures such as Shy'm, Amel Bent, Adriana Karembeu or even Camille Lacourt and Arnaud Ducret, as well as nearly a fifty volunteers, artists and companies donated a lot for the charity sale, making it possible to raise this year the historic sum of 228,100 euros for the benefit of Les Bonnes Fées.

Together, we encourage everyone to get informed, get tested and support this noble cause.” declared Vincent Pimont, General Manager of Peninsula Paris.
A united commitment and full mobilization at the Palace on avenue Kléber
This charity gala launches the Peninsula In Pink program throughout the month of October within the hotel, which undertakes to donate a defined amount on the sale of specific offers available through its various points of sale (accommodation, catering, spa) from the Les Bonnes Fées association.
On this occasion, Pastry Chef Anne Coruble unveils her Afternoon Tea. As beautiful as it is delicious, it includes a swirl of Gala apple with rose, a crispy fig, a Maritozzi with bitter almond and a raspberry Baba. On the salty side, smoked parsnip florals, barigoule artichoke tartlet, and caramelized scallop fritter will delight the finest palates.
Other superb creations will be available on the menu of the establishment's 3 restaurants: L'Oiseau Blanc**, LiLi and Le Lobby. The fig with aloe vera extraction and crunchy petals, the lychee blancmange accompanied by its Chinese black tea cream and flowery juice, and the crispy tartlet with almond foam and pink praline.
The Bar Kléber teams also created a refreshing cocktail, “Harmonie”, composed of Japanese sake, Amour Matador liqueur, cachaça, verjuice and egg white. A non-alcoholic version is also on the menu, "Clochette", made from rooibos tea, Amarena cherry syrup, verjuice, cranberry and pineapple, two original creations full of imagination and fantasy created by the talented team of bartenders of the Parisian Palace.
To highlight the effervescence and bring a delicate acidity in this solidarity month, the champagne is tinted with a pretty pink color... The rosé cuvée of Champagne Laurent-Perrier will be specially offered at the restaurant Le Lobby and at the Bar Kléber, while Champagne Deutz Rosé Brut will be served at LiLi, and Champagne Legras, revealing its beautiful raspberry hue, can be tasted from the hotel's panoramic restaurant, L'Oiseau Blanc.
Thus, from the restaurants to the bar, without forgetting the spa, the hotel undertakes throughout the month of October to donate a defined sum on each of its offers dedicated to the association Les Bonnes Fées.
