Her expertise and innovation were notably recognized when she clinched top honors at the 2009 Diageo World Class competition in Japan and secured an impressive second place on the global stage. Currently, Mari-san excels as the mixology and bar manager at Peter: The Bar, where her multifaceted skills shine. She is renowned for her innovative approach to cocktail creation and has crafted several signature drinks, including the beloved Tokyo Joe, and offers a diverse range of thoughtfully curated zero-proof beverages. Her Totonou Cocktails, inspired by traditional Japanese herbalism, are meticulously designed to promote harmony and vitality, blending creativity with a deep respect for wellness. In addition to her role as a master mixologist, she holds prestigious certifications as a sommelier, a certified sake taster, and an herbal medicine advisor. Her extensive knowledge and diverse qualifications contribute to the bar’s reputation for excellence and innovation in the art of fine beverages.
