In a celebration of the culture, traditions, and cuisine of Thailand, The Peninsula Tokyo is delighted to collaborate with Thiptara, the signature Thai restaurant of sister hotel The Peninsula Bangkok, to bring the delectable flavors and traditional dishes beloved by Thailand to The Lobby restaurant.

 

Thiptara is a feast for all the senses. Surrounded by majestic banyan trees and lush tropical gardens by the Chao Phraya riverside, the restaurant is helmed by Head Chef Monnipa Rungthong who is known for her authentic Thai cuisine that combines the flavors of seasonal ingredients with unique Thai spices using traditional cooking methods. The menu she will prepare at The Lobby includes 12 a la carte dishes and a 3-course and 4-course menu featuring a combination of popular dishes from the local menu.

Selections from the menu during the month-long promotion include: Tom Kha Gai, with the subtle sweetness of coconut milk and sourness of lime; Tom Yam Kung with the flavor of seafood carefully extracted; Pad Thai; and red curry with roast duck. During the same period, Thai-inspired cocktails, mocktails, and Singha beers will also be available for guests to pair with their meal.
