Festive Feast at Spring Moon | The Peninsula Hong Kong
An array of exquisite Lunar New Year specialities will be served at Spring Moon, our Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, during the Lunar New Year. Among these are Poon Choi, a traditional dish that signifies abundance for the year ahead. The preparation, which features a bountiful arrangement of ingredients including abalones, fish maws, mushrooms, and dried scallops, is meant to be shared. It can be served in a porcelain pot (HK$ 2,388* for two and HK$ 4,688* for four). Another popular Chinese New Year dish is Lo Hei (HK $1,388*), featuring chilled abalone slices with caviar, crab roe, cucumber, taro, and more; also meant for sharing, it symbolises good fortune and togetherness.
Diners can also opt to celebrate the Year of the Snake with one of Spring Moon’s enticing set menus – “Fortune” (HK$ 17,380*), “Wealth” (HK$ 22,380*), or “Longevity” (HK$ 27,880*). Ideal for family gatherings, these menus offer selections of favourites for parties of 10 to 12.
Should you prefer to dine at home, PenFare at Home offers a selection of tempting takeaway dishes created by our hotel’s acclaimed culinary team. The offerings include a decadent Chinese New Year dessert, “Great Treasures” Cheesecake – that makes a perfect sweet treat for your gathering.
