The odyssey begins with a visit to the Theodosius Cistern, a hidden gem that cradles history in its cool, quiet embrace. Beneath the surface, this ancient cistern exudes an aura of mystery. Further into the journey the Valens Aqueduct emerges, a testament to the engineering prowess of antiquity. This colossal waterway impressing with its enduring beauty, once carried the life-giving elixir to the heart of Constantinople. The tour then leads to the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam. Dating back to the 16th century, this beautifully preserved hammam is renowned for its stunning architectural design and intricate ceramic tilework. 
Inside the hammam complex, visitors can explore the Hammam Museum, a unique cultural space that showcases the history and traditions of Turkish bathhouses.

The lunch stop is at Cibalıkapı Balıkçısı, introducing the visitors to a feast of fresh seafood mezes and grilled local fish. Following lunch, the journey continues to an old French tobacco factory-turned-into a university, built over the ancient Seferikos Cistern. The day is concluded with the exploration of the historic area of Ayvansaray with a visit to a holy spring within a Greek Orthodox Church, Panayia Vlaherna Meryem Ana. Terms and Conditions:

  • Tour prices are flat rates (not per person) and are valid up to four people. In other words, the tour price is to be shared by the total number of participants. Groups over four people are subject to a special pricing.
  • 48 Hours advance Booking is required and not available on Sundays
  • Full charge for cancellation made less than 24 Hour notice.
  • Prices are quoted in EUR. Prices above do not include 20% VAT. Potentially new taxes (city, tourism etc.) will be added to the total sum - if any.
  • Guide services in rare languages such as Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian are subject to an additional cost of 20% throughout the year.
  • The above rates are subject to a 15% increase during July and August months due to high demand in tourism. High season rate increase does not apply to rare language guide service premium which is already subject to a 20% increase.
