With the arrival of spring comes the arrival of Japan's most beloved symbol: the Sakura or cherry blossom flower. We are delighted to offer the seasonally themed Sakura Afternoon Tea set at The Lobby. From March 15, guests can delight in a selection of Sakura-inspired savory finger foods, sweets, and pastries. Every Sakura Afternoon Tea set comes with homemade scones accompanied by original clotted cream and jam and a selection of 20 teas as live music fills The Lobby space.

Sakura Kamon Art

To further honor this cherished season and showcase the Sakura spirit, the hotel's iconic Lobby will once again be adorned with a magnificent Kamon artwork entitled “The Peninsula Tokyo + Sakura + Art”. The installation draws the hotel's original emblem in the shape of a beloved sakura flower on a national treasure painting dating from 1593; the gorgeous art wall is printed on 112 strips of Japanese washi paper, blending perfectly with the warm and welcoming ambiance of The Lobby.
