Qing Zhu (Green – Wood)

A refreshing and vibrant blend of Northeast Sorghum liquor, Bamboo Leaf liquor, kiwi puree, and ginger water, served in a bamboo cup.

Embark on a captivating journey of flavours at Yun Summer Lounge with our exclusive selection of "Five Elements" themed cocktails inspired by the ancient Chinese Five Elements theory. Each cocktail is carefully crafted to represent a different element, offering a unique taste experience that blends local culture with modern mixology.

Ying Bai (White - Metal): White millet corresponds to metal, embodying purity and elegance. The Ying Bai cocktail embodies the spirit of hospitality and an inheritance of perfection. Guangdong rice wine, fermented glutinous rice and Swiss birch tree liqueur which produces a multi-layered flavour profile. Mascarpone cheese adds smoothness, balance and a cloud-like texture. Each sip is alluringly warm, softly sweet and truly memorable.

Qing Zhu (Green - Wood): Green bamboo corresponds to wood, exuding vitality and hope. The Qing Zhu cocktail represents positive ambitions and unwavering perseverance. Smooth Northeast Sorghum liquor is mixed with Bamboo Leaf liquor, kiwi puree, and ginger water. Served in a bamboo cup, fresh kiwi slices elevate the sweet-sour taste and infuse a herbal aroma evoking the poetic charm of Chinese plants.

Qiao Mo (Black - Water): The black chocolate corresponds to water, symbolising depth and wisdom. The Qiao Mo cocktail reimagines traditional Chinese landscape painting with creative modern flourishes. Guizhou Maoyuan white liquor is combined with chocolate essence, retaining the baijiu's sharpness and the cocoa's richness. Coffee liqueur and Campari add an irresistible taste combination, sweet condensed milk lines the glass and a floating chocolate biscuit completes this artistic seasonal delight.

Chi Mei (Red - Fire): A red rose corresponds to fire in the five elements, symbolising passion and energy. The Chi Mei cocktail evokes the sweet scent of a rose that allows us to recognise the flower even before we see it. This crimson cocktail uses Shanxi Rose Fenjiu delicately infused with rose petals. Yun's skilled mixology team adds homemade chocolate sour to balance the oral fragrance and berry notes. A measure of beetroot and watermelon juice produces the vibrant colour garnished with pieces of watermelon. The refreshing watermelon, sensual rose aroma and subtle Fenjiu flavour create a seasonal taste sensation.

Huang Mang (Yellow - Earth): The yellow mango corresponds to earth, signifying nobility and abundance. The Huang Mang cocktail conveys the joy of the harvest season. Inner Mongolian koumiss is reimagined with smooth advocaat, aloe vera juice, and dried mango pieces. The rich taste of koumiss blends harmoniously with the sweetness of mango and the fresh tang of orange, cleverly marrying the tranquil grasslands with exotic tropical fruit passions.
