Mirlandes started life as a petite dreamer. She envisioned a life as a gymnast but felt too small in the spotlight. It was through global travels that this once-shy child transformed into a strong woman, exploring the world. These journeys immersed her in diverse cultures and experiences, ultimately igniting her passion to share her voice.

A friend encouraged her to document her adventures as a ‘petite and solo’ traveller. Now, through her tireless blogging, Mirlandes empowers women of colour to overcome fears and seize life's opportunities, inspired by the realisation that we all have just one life.

A Manhattanite at heart, Mirlandes views New York City as a welcoming grandmother, always providing warmth and comfort. Her endless energy finds a match in the city that never sleeps.

In her role at The Peninsula New York, she seamlessly manages the administrative tasks that contribute to the hotel's success and create memorable experiences for guests.
