Amelia Lu

Life has always been one big adventure for Amelia. She left her hometown of Nanjing and travelled over 300 kilometres east to Shanghai, where she discovered her love for western cuisine and with it, a flair for hospitality. 

At Sir Elly’s Terrace, atop The Peninsula Shanghai, she pairs the gorgeous panorama with the most memorable dining experiences for the hotel’s guests - offering them breathtaking vistas of the Shanghai evening skyline alongside well-curated cocktails and bites.

While the view from this vantage point would be enough for most of us, for Amelia, there’s still much of the city to see. Fuelled by her passion to seek new experiences, she rides her skateboard along Shanghai’s streets, admiring how the modern architecture blends seamlessly into the city’s historical structures. After a day of weaving through the metropolis, she spends her evenings with friends, over hotpot and an exchange of the week’s adventures.
